About Coney Island Beer
Coney Island Brewery is a brewery founded in 2007 that makes beer inspired by the Coney Island amusement area in New York. Its current brewery opened in 2015 on Surf Avenue after the original was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Its taproom closed in November 2023, but its beers continue to be sold to bars, restaurants and stores throughout New York.
