About Motor City Brewing Works

Motor City Brewing Works is a craft brewery and taproom in Detroit's Midtown Cultural Center, operating since 1994. It brews beer on a 20-barrel system and serves it at its Canfield taproom, which also offers food. The company says it is temporarily closing the taproom after February 8 while it decides the future of the building and brand, but beer distribution to retailers will continue.
