Schmitt & Töchter is a family-run village distillery in Heßlar near Karlstadt in Lower Franconia, Germany. It makes handmade fruit spirits from orchard fruit, mostly gathered from local meadow orchards, and holds a distilling licence dating back over 100 years. Its range includes fruit brandies such as mirabelle, pear, cherry and plum, plus unsweetened spirits and seasonal liqueurs made to order.
