Edelbrennerei Kern is a distillery located in the village of Schlaifhausen on the sunny southern slope of the Walberla in the Fränkische Schweiz region of Germany. It makes fruit spirits (Edelbrände) and liqueurs from fruit grown on its own orchards, including traditional old fruit varieties preserved on its meadow orchards. The distillery also hosts an annual open-distillery day with tours, tastings and live distilling demonstrations.
