Casa Tlacolula

Casa Tlacolula is a mezcal producer based in Tlacolula, Oaxaca, Mexico, which the company describes as the cradle of Oaxacan mezcal. It grows its agave organically, letting plants reproduce naturally and harvesting them at maturity after roughly 5 to 10 years. Its palenque (distillery site) includes space for cooking, fermenting and distilling the agave, and the company also designs its own glass bottles to be recycled and reused.
