AO Amber Talvis is a Russian producer of rectified ethyl alcohol, sold under the Lux and Alfa grades and used mainly in the production of higher-end spirits by Russian and foreign brands. It also turns distillery waste into high-protein dry stillage for livestock feed and sells by-products such as the head fraction of ethyl alcohol and fusel oil. The company operates a 10,000 decaliter-per-day plant in Novaya Lyada, Tambov region, and its history at the Tambov site dates back to 1899.
