Pálenica Šandal

Pálenica Šandal is a fruit distillery in the village of Šandal in the Stropkov district of Slovakia, which opened in 2013 in a converted former pub and grocery building. It offers custom distilling services, where customers bring their own fermented mash (kvas) and the distillery produces spirits to their preference. The site describes a 300-litre single-boiler column still with gas heating and electronic control.
