Root Shoot Malting is a family farm and estate malthouse in Colorado that grows grain and malts it on the same land. It supplies barley, wheat, rye, oats and non-GMO corn, mainly to craft brewers and distillers. The business grew out of a long-running family farming operation near Longmont and was set up in 2016 to serve local craft producers.
