About Weingut Schuhmann
Weingut Gernot Schuhmann is a family winery in Austria that grew out of a wine and arable farm founded in 1974. Gernot Schuhmann, who trained at the Krems wine school, took over the business in 1997 and focused it on quality wine production. The estate farms about 15 hectares, split roughly evenly between white and red grape varieties, and sells its wines through an online shop and a cellar door open on Fridays.
