About Cantina Blass
Cantina Blass is a small, boutique winemaking estate with about 4.5 hectares of vineyards on hillsides in the Ticino villages of Astano, Sessa, Agno and Biogio, near Lugano. The estate vinifies its wines separately by vineyard plot and ages them in amphorae and barriques, working largely by hand with minimal sulphur and natural cellar aids. It is based in a 17th-century monastery-style house in Astano and is building a new winery cellar.
