Herdade da Maroteira is a 330-acre estate in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal, about 35 km north of Evora, at the foothills of the Serra D'Ossa. The farm has long been known for cork oak forestry and livestock, and since 2000 it has also grown grapes to produce red, white and rosé wines. The estate also offers tours and nature experiences such as jeep tours, hiking, birdwatching and stargazing.
